Reginald F. Lewis College of Business

AACSBLed by Dr. Mirta Martin, Dean of the Reginald F. Lewis School of Business, administrators are committed to providing students with a well-rounded, forward-thinking education.  The administration of the RFL School of Business ensures that students receive the education of a lifetime. We use shadowing experiences, internships, and job opportunities to ensure that our students are able to apply acquired knowledge to practical situations.

Since the beginning of her career at The Reginald F. Lewis School of Business, Dean Martin has led the effort to ensure a quality education for the students through the development of partnerships with industry leaders and VSU’s surrounding community.  Her dedicated staff supports her in these efforts in various capacities.  Within the office of the dean, there is an Assistant Dean (Dr. Cheryl Mitchem), an Associate Dean for Faculty ( Dr. Emmanuel Omojokun), an Executive to the Dean (Mrs. Denise Allen), a Chief Financial Officer (Mrs. Valerie Berry), a Grant Writer (Ms. Lynette Hammond), a Director of Development (Dr. Mario White) and a Director of Marketing and Communications (Mrs. Gwen Williams Dandridge).

Our advisement center aids students as they choose courses and prepare to enter the professional work environment. The advisement center includes a Director of Advising and Professional Enhancement (Ms. Sharon Taylor), two Academic Advisers (Mr. Michael Hawkins and Mr. Jonathan Young), and a Director of Corporate Relations (Mr. Jonathan Young).  Additionally, Ms. Merri Incitti serves as the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Manager, and Mrs. Portia Robinson is the Information Technology Manager.
