Sharon Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Saint Paul's College and a Masters of Arts Degree in Education with a concentration in Adult Education from Central Michigan University. Sharon joined the VSU family in 1999 and currently serves as the Director of Academic Advising and the Director of Professional Enhancement and Career Development for the Reginald F. Lewis School of Business.
Sharon is a native of King & Queen County, Virginia and resides in Richmond, Virginia. Other positions held at the University include Academic Advisor for the School of Business, Co-Curricular Programs Coordinator for the Department of Student Activities, and Policy and Planning Specialist for the President's Office. Prior to coming to Virginia State University, Sharon worked in retail banking for Wachovia Bank. Sharon has a certification in Social, Business and Children's Etiquette from the Etiquette Institute in Saint Louis, Missouri and is currently working toward a Certification in Academic Advising through the National Association for Academic Advisors (NACADA).
