Gary M. Gore is the Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Region of U.S. Trust and is based in Richmond, Virginia. Gary is responsible for the U.S. Trust offices in Richmond, Norfolk, Charlottesville, Roanoke, McLean, Virginia as well as Baltimore and Chevy Chase, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In these markets teams are responsible for the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to the high net worth and ultra high net worth.
Gary joined Bank of America in 1990, then North Carolina National Bank (NCNB,) as a credit analyst and has since served in various leadership and executive roles within the organization. In 2005, he moved to Richmond to serve as Market Executive in the Global Commercial Bank for the Virginia and North Carolina markets. He was appointed to lead U.S. Trust in 2007. In addition to his U.S. Trust role, Gary currently serves as Market President for the Richmond Market. In this role, oversees the bank’s local operations and investments, including philanthropic grants, community development banking, volunteer efforts and stewardship.
Gary earned his undergraduate degree in finance from East Carolina University.
Gary currently serves as a board member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Business Council, Venture Richmond, the YMCA of Greater Richmond and Homeward. Additionally, he serves as a Trustee for the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, Richmond Ballet and Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce as well as serving on the Executive Council of the College of Business at Virginia State University.
