Mr. Donald “Don” DeLaney joined the Integrated Technologies Division of Allen Corporation of America in October 2003 after a 20 year career in the communications field. Delaney is Vice President, Integrated Technologies Division at Allen Corporation. Allen Corporation is a diversified privately held corporation based in Fairfax, Virginia. He is the Vice President of Allen Corporation in charge of the Integrated Technologies Division and leads the division’s activities including the sale, design, implementation, and life cycle support of complex voice, video, and data communications including Voice over IP and Unified Communications solutions for government and commercial clients.
Prior to joining Allen Corporation he had a 20 year career in the technology divisions of RCA, and GE before the division was acquired from GE by Mitel Networks. He served in numerous management and leadership positions including Vice President for US Enterprise Sales. He helped lead the transition of Mitel from a manufacturer of traditional telephony products to a global leader in IP telephony solutions. Mr. DeLaney has nearly 30 years of effective sales, general management, and operational business experience, combined with P&L responsibilities. He has a diverse blend of perspectives that he brings to client and employee relationships.
Mr. DeLaney is a native of Richmond, VA with a BA from The College of William and Mary, and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in Henrico, VA with his wife Terry and has three children. His oldest son Ryan is a graduate of The Steward School, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Architecture. His twin daughters Elizabeth and Mary Martha are graduates of The Steward School, and rising juniors at the University of Alabama.
