College of Business Awarded Top Honors

The Reginald F. Lewis College of Business at Virginia State University for 2017 was recognized as the best business school in the country at a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Recipient of the HBCU Digest/Thurgood Marshall College Fund award, The College of Business shares accreditation with the 5% of most elite business schools in the world and its namesake was America's first black billionaire businessman.
Dr. Emmanuel Omojokun (Dean) was in the audience in Washington, D.C. to receive the award.
Also of note, President Makola M. Abdullah was named the 2017 HBCU Male President of the Year. Abdullah shared, "I would like to thank VSU Board of Visitors, faculty, staff, students and alumni for all that they do for Virginia State University."
